A man who heads a group with a mere 4 million members gets a seat on Face The Nation.

Each week Bob Sheaffer continues to moderate this show, the more right wing it seems to get,

This coming Sunday, in the shadow of Christmas, Wayne LaPierre will be given an opportunity to spew.

How does he get that?

Why not the head of the National Hot Rod Association? Or the head of the stamp collectors? Wine enthusiasts?

Why the gun nut?

Will John McCain be on the show too? He usually is.

Fuck you, Bob.

Besides, the members are just a ruse so they can get money from them and pretend to be a non-profit instead of lobbyists for gun and ammo sales.

If there will be someone who seriously takes him to task on at the same time he is then I want him on the air, this guy needs to be made a fool of on national television.

If there is no one to seriously challenge him however then I am with you, this guy should not be given a platform to spread his lies without being taken to task for it.

He cannot say anything different from what he said Friday. It will be a total waste of time and just another hour of free PR for the NRA.

I would love to hear him asked " Why do you have Ted Nugent, a man who has advocated the assassination of Barack Obama on at least three seperate occasions on your Board of Directors? You also have three people on your Board of Directors who have been involved in accidental discharges, do you consider these people to be responsible gun owners? How can you claim to be a gun safety organization with members on your Board who clearly do not practice gun safety?

I would love to see LaPierre asked these questions, any good journalist could destroy this guy in an interview. I want to see him interviewed by a real journalist, I don't want to see him interviewed by someone who is just going to let him spout his talking points.

just like the teabaggers. Because Big Media and hate Radio are all far right, and thus NRA sympathizers, and because about 2/3 of the congress took the NRA's blood money to get elected, they have a lot of power.

OTOH FtN has been far right for a long time.
