Boehner could still get a fiscal cliff bill passed.

If he accepts a bill that the Democrats will vote for, all he has to do is get 28 Republicans to agree.

Since so many Republicans have decided not to govern, they must be ignored and the only choice left is to work with Representatives that still are willing to do their job which means he must rely on Democrats.

This assumes that Boehner is still one of the Republicans who still sees his job as governing.
