NRA's next insipid idea: Post a Policeman with everyone

That's right. You heard me.

if everyone had a policemen beside them, the good guys will always have guns to attack the bad guys with.
sarcasm off

btw - anyone who uses this good guy/bad guy terminology is devoid of intellect.

...over all the time but of course, they'd be cops also so we would let them off with a warning.

also, since many people would not be able to do two jobs, they would first be cops then whatever they used to do. So we would be a nation of cops. Of course, given, that there is a criminal element in any large group, some of the cops would be crooked and be given guns by the government (wow-talk about expanding the government's role). Then we would need more cops. Since 100% of the population is already a cop, we would need to bring in new people and turn them into cops. And the cycle will continue.

we would need to have some way of telling good cops from bad. maybe wayne laidiot can lend some of his idiocy to trying to figure out how to do this.

Instead of catching criminals, he and I can engage in technical conversations!

Instead of "good guy/bad guy," would you prefer "citizen with/without evil intent?"

I just got confused...

btw... weapons don't automatically make someone kill others. If they did, the USA would be less than half its current size.

I want my live-in cop!

the more difficult they are to get, the less damage will be done

President Obama framed it perfectly when he said that our goal is to reduce gun violence. He made a similar argument previously when he argued that we can all agree that we want to reduce or eliminate abortions.

The less damage via GUN will be done... a good kitchen knife will be all the damage a killer could want.

What was the bit about "killer of illegal immigrants" regarding?

Demand your live-in officer!

the lunatic killed over 20 people in Sandy. The other lunatic killed in the same magnitude in a movie theatre? These weapons were effective and horrible killing machines.

i don't recall knive attacks having the same impact.
the knife was better than the club
the sword was better than the knife
the bow and arrow was more effective than the sword
the flintlock changed everything

since, and this is important, the NRA themselves, or at least their pubilc idiot, said that the way to curtail gun violence is through more policing. Thus, let the user pay - in this case the guns.
