It hit me in the shower that he told his father that he did it because he had eliminated a fake MAGA anticipating that his father would praise him and be impressed.

MAGA family... kids drifted to Fuentes style MAGAworld and the son thinks this will gain the approval and respect of his father. But father is appalled because he is only Nazi-light...all the hatred and racism but doesn't want to admit he's a Nazi. So dad turns him in.

I've known a lot of Mormon kids who did crazy shit to try to win the respect and love of their cold fathers.

Curious if anyone else has drifted there.

I don’t think it was this political. I think he did it because he could, for the internet, and to give meaning to his life. I also think he was unserious as a person and didn’t really understand the gravity.
