In another voice mail, left on June 18, the same man called Mr. Mamdani a terrorist who was not welcome in New York or in America.
Go on and start your car. See what happens, the caller said, then used expletives as he told him to watch your back every second till you get out of America.
Prosecutors said that Mr. Fistel also sent hateful messages through Mr. Mamdanis State Assembly website. One said, Id love to see an IDF bullet go through your skull, an apparent reference to the Israel Defense Forces.
Sounds like what you hear about Mamdani from many Republicansdiscourse, right.
Meanwhile in Democratic Party - Hakeem Jeffries voted for Charlie Kirk Day but still isnt sure if hell endorse Zohran Mamdani.

(34,006 posts)I was reading about a Texas man who was threatening Mamdani and then I see a dig about Hakeem Jeffries in it.
Is this gonna be about Jeffries? Is it gonna be about Democratic leadership? Really?
No wonder Democrats don't win. With friends like that who needs enemies. Tying a Black Democratic leader to hate crime??????

WASHINGTON, Sept 18 (Reuters) - U.S. Representative Jamie Raskin, a leading liberal voice in Congress, urged his fellow Democrats on Thursday to avoid an "obvious political trap" and vote for a Republican resolution honoring the assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Raskin, a Maryland lawmaker, urged his colleagues to ignore "surplus verbiage" in the resolution and instead back it as a condemnation of violence.
We cannot fall for that obvious political trap and should rise above it," Raskin said. "It is essential that we come together as Americans to condemn each and every episode of political violence."
