1. That last quip is just about the only use of gay as negative I condone bc it is ironic and provocative of Mr. Greene

I have no idea if Greene is gay or not, but I expect he is not and will take offence at being called "gay".

If a gay person walked into a fundamentalist church, there would attempts at conversion.

Typical barracks talk bullcrap.

"I had a queer try to pick me up and I kicked his ass!" Yeah right.

My reality when approached by a guy was, thank you. I appreciate it but don't go that way.

Usually a Too Bad" or if you change your mind...

5. He might get five handshakes in that church

But the other 240 parishioners would quickly close their eyes and pray for deliverance.

Plus, he would have to demonstrate to me that he would be kicked out of a Pride parade or gay bar if he mentioned that he's a Republican. Log Cabin Republicans are a reliable Republican bloc and if they drink and dance somewhere, I imagine they seek like minds.

. . . And would be the lead in to an agenda, specifically to get you to become one of them.

The possibility of the Republican in the Gay bar being harassed may or may not be real; I don't claim to know. But the people hanging out there just want a place where they can be themselves.

Considering the fact that Republicans have accused Gay people of trying to "recruit" or "convert" people into their orientation, wouldn't being welcomed into a Gay bar seem kind of suspect?

Really? Any church?

At the Methodist church across the street this would be true.

But at any of the non-denominational churches that sprout like mushrooms around here I’m pretty sure he would politely be shown the door. Unless he was open to entering into conversion therapy.

This chucklehead needs to understand that the Republican Party is now the modern day analogue to the National Socialists in 1930’s Germany.

and proclaim that he is an Unrepentant Democrat.
He would be 'damned-to-hell' quicker than he could say "Shalom'!

He is an odd case. Apparently, a Jew who is a self-hating gay man.He writes a lot about his own 'gender dysphoria'.
