Ebony Sweets Watson, who lives across the street from the raided building, told the Chicago Sun-Times that she saw children, some of whom weren’t even wearing clothes, dragged out of the building by ICE agents and then placed into U-Haul vans.
“It was heartbreaking to watch,” she said. “Even if you’re not a mother, seeing kids coming out buck naked and taken from their mothers, it was horrible.”

(20,361 posts)I think people are going to have to be personally and dramatically hurt by Trump before any of this matters to them.
Things like people walking up one day and finding out that they no longer have healthcare. Even that won't matter much to people who see their doctor once a year with a case of the sniffles. But for people receiving ongoing treatment for a condition or illness, it will matter to them.
And when it happens, and the backlash comes, Trump will post AI videos blaming Biden for all of it.
THEN we'll find out how smart America is. Or not.

And a third of the US is opposed to it.
As to what it will take for a majority of the ignorant and apathetic third of the US to wake up, they will wake up when it affects them personally. But just because they wake doesn't automatically mean that they will understand what is wrong or what needs to be done about it. If they haven't been following how we got here, they will be easy victims to reich-wing propaganda.
That's one reason why it is so important for Democratic politicians, and everyone on the left, to keep up efforts to educate those who aren't already awake.

But corroborating evidence is important, both from the standpoint of credibility and potential future legal action against the perpetrators. So I understand and appreciate the question .

(149,853 posts)See, there is live evidence, which needs to be seen to understand whether the stories are accurat or not. So far, the evidence dos not show any children at all, much less unclothed children. So, no evidence, no belief from me.

(3,360 posts)about why it's necessary and how it went. Very little of the actual operation or the people affected. They claim the 300 federal agents were necessary. There's not nearly enough video to cover the actions of those 300.
There are so many other abhorrent actions that are easily verified; I don't get why you're focusing on an eyewitness report of naked children.

If ICE was dragging naked zip-tied children through the streets, this would be the biggest news story of the year. I'm calling bullshit for now. There is absolutely no evidence that happened.

Your only chance would be to send it to the Guardian, or some foreign news agency.......
These "government" perpetrators are hand chosen, sadistic animals.....................I think that has been more than proven during Trump's first term and definitely during these past months........
I can only imagine what they are doing in the shadows, that hasn't been recorded, or shown.........

But I bet he couldn't even imagine how bad - dragging unclothed children out of their homes. Ransacking peoples' homes. We used to the say, the cruelty if the point. The terror is the point.
