What would you suppose Israel's response should have been to October 7th?
Did Netanyahu go way overboard? Yes he did. As a matter of fact the actions of Hamas have helped keep Netanyahu out of jail.

Would be to NOT kill innocent men, women and children. But that's just me.

It's fine what you believe is inappropriate - but what would have been appropriate?

If you're dealing with urban warfare, there will be civilian casualties.
Hamas chose the battlefield by fighting from civilian areas in crowded cities.

How about a fucking lot? Stop defending what that genocidal ass is doing by bringing up Oct 7. We are WAY past that at this point.

Ever - from way before October 7th.
Do not accuse me of doing that.
You can disagree with me - that's fine.
Try to be civil about it.

I ask you:
What do you think the appropriate response from Israel after ( forbidden to mention.)

Hamas cold have agreed to free the hostages almost two years ago - so many innocents would still be alive or unharmed.
What did Hamas accomplish? Who suffered the most due to their actions? No matter how much you hate Israel, it was Hamas's actions that spurred this war.

I am not sure how Hamas thought this would go any other way. Must have been smoking some good shit.

I assume their fantasy was that Hezbollah & Iran would jump in, and then the neighboring countries like in '48, '56, '67 & '73, but I think the neighbors learned to mind their own business and want no part of the IDF.

People seemed to forget the US suffered around 2,000 military casualties on Dec 7th and then killed 2.6 to 3.1 million Japanese until they unconditionally surrendered.

I have to say, if this happens, AND the destruction of Gaza ceases and blockades are removed and people are fed and medically attended to, that's obviously more important than our domestic politics.

You know he'll try to take all the credit, even though most likely Gaza was simply bombed and destroyed into submission.

and will look clean as hell and well armed and the IDF and the psychotic Israeli ministers will have a temper tantrum about it and start bombing again. They want to ethnically cleanse the area. They don't want peace.

What do you think Israel should do?

BTW, I do not advocate that Israel try to decimate Gaza.
Do you think they should just give up on trying to rescue the living hostages and obtaining the remains of those that were killed?
What about Israel's truce agreement do you think is unreasonable? If so, which part is unreasonable?

Israel will demand that Hamas agreed to all the terms. And justifiably so.

Hamas will never disarm therefore this deal is DOA imo over that sticking point alone
