It's got a very good beat, and I like it. I remember Dick Clark used to ask his teenagers (which I'm definitely not), "what did you like about this song?", to which they always said, "it's got a great beat!"

I've never downloaded music before, just upgrading stuff on my computer helped initiate this.

Best of luck in the New Year!

...click on the "Entertainment" link, and a drop-down menu will appear, with the link to the Musicians group.

It took me a while to figure that out the first time I was looking for it.

...but, unfortunately, I find that it is quite difficult to get much support for independent music at DU.

I even paid for an ad on DU and had very little response - 53 clicks on 50,000 impressions.

I would have done better to have spent the $$ on almost anything else, no matter how frivolous.

I invite you to check out our tunes:

Green Sparkle Frog

and at ReverbNation

BTW, I just became a fan of yours at RN.

The first band I was in was called Scott Thomas Lowe & Atascadero, I was a background vocalist.

The band's first drummer was Dewey Martin, who had been the drummer for Buffalo Springfield (as well as having been in The Standells, and The Dillards, plus, Dewey also performed with Patsy Cline and Roy Orbison).

When Dewey was ready to move on, he sold me the Camco drum kit he said he used to record with Buffalo Springfield, and I became the Atascadero drummer for a time, until the bass player and I left to start a punk band called Benedict Arnold & The Traitors.

I still use the Camcos, especially for live performance, but I also have a Roland TD-20X electronic kit which I use now for recording.

In 1995, I was in a band called Slowdazzle and we obtained a six-song development deal with Columbia Records, with Sandy Pearlman (producer of Blue Oyster Cult) producing. Unfortunately, the lead singer could not satisfactorily record her vocals, so we lost that opportunity and the band dissolved. The singer had a lot of issues, like needing to be real drunk before she could perform, which did not work so well in the studio with Sandy.

I often wonder how different my life would have been had we been picked up by Columbia, but I have no regrets. I'm happy just to have been able to work with some great musicians over the years, and have a lot of memorable moments to look back on.

I downloaded it, bot would love to pay for it. I would use this in my yoga class.
It has an Eels feel to it, whom I love. But definitely individualistic. Quality.

In my class. How to send donation? Get a disc. Both my kids struggling musicians. One a guitarist,
Both acoustic, and bass, the other percuss, but cannot stand each other. Just don't understand.
