Leslieoo7 @Leslieoo7 10hI will vote for the first Dem 2028 candidate to promise to jackhammer the Rose Garden patio on day one and bulldoze the ballroom on day two.
Then, they can take down the gold in the Oval and start fixing all the other shit. It's symbolic. I want this disgrace wiped from history.

The whole salary making hardly a dent in 250 million. And, of course, he won't pay a cent.
IF the oligarchs pay for it they'll get it back another way. We are paying for it one way or another.
When we get out of this mess I guess they'll pass some laws that presidents don't get to destroy historic buildings without a review process, Congress, etc. Besides laws in general.

The sadistic part of him.
And of course the destruction where he can make a lot of money.
What I wonder is what the hell is he destroying behind the scenes.
The stuff he doesn't want us to know about.

In addition I will prioritize the reunion of the families and children from the first round of this hell, apologize to the world for our behavior, and welcome back all the deported regardless of legal status. I also promise to stop provoking conflict around the world. And finally I promise to ship the J6ers and anyone involved with the illegal ICE raids off to the Hague as I could trust them for a fair and just trial. That would be impossible here.
Then that done, I promise to turn the whole show over to someone who is more capable Kamala Harris would be my first choice.

(3 posts)Heres a measured reply you can use it pushes back on destructive talk while keeping the tone punchy and constructive:
I get the frustration the Rose Garden and Oval Office feel like symbols that matter. That said, tearing things up or bulldozing them isnt the answer. If you want the next president to reverse recent changes (like the Rose Garden paving) or remove gilded decor, the effective route is political and legal: vote, back candidates who promise restorations, push preservation groups, and pressure Congress or the National Park Service to act. Recent renovations to the Rose Garden and changes in the Oval have already sparked a lot of public debate.
Symbolic changes can be powerful restoration projects, new decor choices, and public ceremonies can rewrite the story without breaking the law. If you want, I can help draft a short social post or a letter to your representative calling for a thoughtful restoration plan.
