President Donald Trump will likely name his new $300 million White House ballroom after himself, according to senior administration officials.
Already, officials are referring to it as "The President Donald J. Trump Ballroom." That name will likely stick, ABC News was told.
Trump has not publicly said what he intends to name the ballroom, but he is known for branding his construction projects after himself -- and it appears this project will be no different.

(13,034 posts)The white House becomes Trump House.
Reagan Airport becomes Trump Airport.
All museums on the Mall become Trump museums, as in Trumps Museum of the Holocaust or the Trump Air and Space Museum.
Undoing everything Trump will cost taxpayers a fortune.

(9,702 posts)That I keep seeing: I dont know why liberals want me to be mad about a free ballroom? Do they not know how anything works? Billionaire donates to Trumps ballroom ( or inauguration or buys his Memecoin or whatever). Billionaires company gets sweetheart government contracts or the criminal investigation or the audit goes away or someone gets a presidential pardon, or their products are now exempt from tariffs or regulations. That free ballroom gets mighty expensive!

(31,846 posts)Regardless of cost, I want it gone, with the same speed, and brutality, and media coverage, and lack of official approval with which the East Wing was destroyed. It will be worth every penny, to prevent a trump-named structure in DC from being used for moneyed celebrations for the next 500 years. If public funds are required to make this happen, I'll contribute what I can. If the structure must remain standing, then let it be repurposed to a food kitchen for the homeless or a center for unwed mothers---with the clear understanding that the trump name is never ever to be used in connection with it.
