It is my last resort. I havent spent money there in years. Recently after checking Lowes and grrr Home Depot for a replacement light for my kitchen I found the size at a small local hardware store. But this poag strengthens my reserve to NEVER a shop there again. And at my local Lowes a few months they lost all the day labors and I saw some guys hiding under cars!Ive hired these gig workers a few times in my senior move management job doing clear outs. They were nice hardworking people.

at the local home deport many years ago. She was treated worse than the mcd's "hot coffee" victim, and died of her injuries. I am fortunate in having several local options available to me.
Several years ago, I persuaded a friend likewise after I explained how they screw over the vendors of their live plants, as we watched them toss hundreds of dollars worth of plants into the trash.

(120 posts)If you are lucky enough to have any independent or small hardware stores left, consider going to them first before they are eaten up by big box stores. A hundred year old business is now part of the Ace Hardware franchise but they still keep their name, there are 2 other truly independent hardware stores in my city. I had to break the habit of Home Depot first and go to them now.

And found the lights I needed.
