Only 3 times since the orange turd was installed. But I had an old nasal streamer that was at least 25 years old and it was falling apart. I went to several stores looking for a replacement and had no luck. And I wasnt willing to pay $100 for a Naviage. Anyway, I ordered a nasal steamer from Amazon and it was a piece of shit. So I put in a request to send it back and went to the Whole Foods to drop it off. I was stunned by the number of people waiting in line to return things. The line to deal with an actual representative had 1 person working behind the desk and there were over 25 people in line! The self check had a line of over 10 people in front of me. I was so close 2 people ahead of and the machine shut down because it was full of returns. The two people ahead of me went to report it the desk person. I was so pissed because a young woman ahead of the two people ahead of me had over 10 items to return. Anyway I couldnt get over why so many people were returning stuff its feels like an omen of people being angry at Amazon. And in the past I have never experienced a line for a return like that. And 30 minutes later I passed by there again on. way out of the mall and the two machines were still not working and the line to return things was even longer.
If I still played ghe stock market Id be tempted to short the stock !

These days, every time I want to buy something questionable, I immediately remember that I may want a sammich some day when Im 75, and save it instead. No confidence in the future. Gen X says trust no one, save every dime. Its all a racket.

be buying anything from Amazon for Xmas gifts and forever so not to send me any "Amazon wish list" They are a scam company that has zero customer service and they get more things wrong than they get right. Not worth the effort. I'm too old to deal with shitty customer service (which is rampant).

(21,185 posts)They side with the customer, and have never given me a problem when returning merchandise. What problems have you had with them?

(3,925 posts)I have always been taken care of immediately, no problems whatsoever, including with their vendors. They've always made things right for me.

(986 posts)As much of an ass hole as he seems to be, the company felt more customer focused under Bezos as CEO.
Since then it seems they make you go through more hoops to return things and also have limited return locations.
