Epstein Turned to Noam Chomsky to Rehab Image

“With Jeffrey Epstein’s reputation in tatters following a 2018 Miami Herald investigation into his sex crimes – and how he evaded serious consequences – the financier hit on a plan: He would produce a documentary to present himself in a favorable light,” the Miami Herald reports.

“He had several ideas about who could appear on it and provide favorable testimonies, emails and phone messages how.”

“And one of the first friends to allegedly give Epstein the thumbs up was famed left-wing academic Noam Chomsky.”

that there will be unpleasant surprises and fallout on all sides of the proverbial fences and we DON’T CARE. We just want it out.

I personally don't see how his reputation could have been rehabbed after the Miami Herald stories. Even if he funded a cure for cancer or funded rescuing puppies, he still was a PEDOPHILE.

As to Chompsky, you would want to know the full story - i.e. - was it Epstein calling him and he said, "yeah sure" or did he volunteer to provide a testimony. From some old article, there was a disturbing account that suggested in that time frame that he was still welcome at parties. It might have been that until the Miami Herald articles gained attention, the sweetheart deal may have mislead some to not get the extent of things he was accused of.

The NYT had an article recently about his connects to Chase. A phrase in the article was Epstein was a collector of people and was talented at putting together people that led to deals. This is why Chase was comfortable with him long after they should have been. I suspect that might have been true for many.

I often disagree with Chomsky, but if this ends up being the extent of his connection, he certainly does not look good, but it does not suggest any involvement in Epstein's illegal activities.
