(17,152 posts)I still think they're only doing this because they know there will be nothing there about their cult leader. After all, he's the one who just gave the green light for this to happen.

(8,326 posts)If they truly approved of the bill, they wouldn't have required the discharge petition. Now that they know it will pass, they are all afraid to vote how they really feel. They are all voting yes, but we know they don't believe in what they are voting for. Anyone who watched any of the debate before the vote will know every single Republican who spoke about it trashed the bill. Yet now they're voting for it and we're supposed to believe they're being honest? Get Real! They are proving their cowardice and hypocrisy in real time.

(30,738 posts)the vote to release the Epstein files is going to remain on the front burner.
People underestimate the power of the narrative, Krasnov lost the narrative, he wanted the Epstein files buried yesterday.

(30,738 posts)I predicted weeks ago there would be more than 4 House Magat votes. Krasnov did everything he could to threaten those 4 Magats.
The scenario began to change when Krasnov couldn't stop the petition, 40 to 50 Magats were prepared to vote Yes, then more got on board.
The fact that House Magats are voting Yes except for 1 vote protects Krasnov, personally. Krasnov had to pretend he wanted the bill to pass to save face, to save his ass.
Passage of this discharge petition ensures that PedoGate stays on the front burner.

(291,437 posts)That he had to vote against himself.
He will now try another angle to stop his 3rd impeachment or stepping down to avoid it.
Maybe they will permit him the 25th to save the humiliation. I hope not.
