Americans blame Republicans more than Democrats for "fiscal cliff":

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/12/27/us-usa-fiscal-poll-idUSBRE8BQ0J620121227

When asked who they believed to be more responsible for the "fiscal cliff" situation, 27 percent blamed Republicans in Congress, 16 percent blamed Obama and 6 percent pointed to Democrats in Congress. The largest percentage - 31 percent - blamed "all of the above."

Republicans are OWNING the FISCAL CLIFF

16+7=23

Splitting them up makes the statistics look cute, but not very realistic. Obama is a Democrat. Asking who you blame more, Obama or Democrats is going to split that number.

I think Americans overall are pretty pissed off at both parties right now.

that is OWNING it

they make up half of the largest percent so you take 27 +1/2 of the largest percent ....that makes Republican and they are the largest

ALL of Congress includes REPUBLICANS so they look like 42 % blame Republicans

We are politically polarized. 47% of the country voted against the President. The Republicans held control of the House.

It seems obstructionism and the status quo is what the Republic wants. There isn't very many people left in the middle.

It's nice seeing blame placed where it belongs for once.
