Should we try to enjoy life and laugh or worry about the unknown?

There's so much bad news out there and then there is good. Should one live each day fully or live in fear? Personally I don't want to be fearful but live life to the fullest. I think that's the difference between right wingers and liberals. Fear rules the right wingers so much they don't seem to enjoy everyday life and it's joys. You almost want to pity them.

And the prisoners don't know they are in there. Their parents never told them when they were born; likely their parents were not aware as well.

Every prisoner suffers from some cognitive dissonance and develops some psychosis to deal with their imprisonment. Some people resign to fear and destructive feelings, joining like minded individuals who want to rework the prison to their ideal vision and address their fear. Some people resign to the system in order to cope, embracing their captivity; they wish to further alter the structure of the prison to be more benevolent to the masses.

Through the struggle of these groups, the prison becomes better at dealing with the power of the different mass psychosis of the populations. All groups build bigger prison walls. All groups help the prison grow, evolve, and imprison their children. All groups will defend the life of the prison through any means necessary. All groups will never experience real freedom; some will delude themselves of it while the others will work to smash that delusion and spread their own misery.

I see very little difference between the populations. None are free. None of their children will be free. All of them secure their imprisonment. All of them think they are correct in their developed psychosis

We all try to be the happiest we can be given our circumstances, but as humans we see the suffering around us and want to make the world better. I think the working to make the world better part is noble but I'm not sure it is necessary to make one self suffer with sorrow and anxiety while doing so. It's not easy to find a balance though.
