A Pre-Emptive Strike By The Democrats

They say it is the kicked dog that barks.

In a surprise announcement via an ad, the Democrats advised the military that they did not have to follow "illegal" orders. Their emphasis was on the word "illegal".

Trump reacted like the dog that was kicked. He barked and bellowed that those Democrats should be hanged for sedition. His usual lack of awareness was apparent when some noticed that he pardoned several Jan 6 rioters that were charged with "sedition". But, it is OK when he does it?

But, there is probably much more to the story. He does not want the military to question any of his orders, legal or illegal, In fact, he probably has plans on the table to use the military in a questionable or illegal manner. The last thing he needed was Democrats telling "his" military which orders they could follow?

In my opinion, we will discover in the next few days or weeks that he was ready to launch a new military maneuver with the military. In fact, the world is questioning at this very moment his bombing of boats off the coast of Venezuela. Neither he nor his Secretary of Defense (War) has offered any evidence that they are killing drug smugglers, as they claim. Furthermore, even if they are drug smugglers, he does not have the authority to randomly kill anyone. There are ways for nations to handle these problems.

Yes, he is angry. And probably for a reason?

Guess that’s an accurate statement now seeing that Trumpig is russian. More actions like this need to happen everyday. Throw truthbombs in his path, get him seethingly mad…it will break him.

And yes you've stated the principles of Trump. All the rules and laws and rulings should be bent in his favor, and if they aren't, that is UNFAIR!!!

These Democrats, in this instance, saw how to get out in front of this pattern. Question is was it a test for 2026, or just happenstance? Could Democrats figure out how to apply preemptive debate again?

and make ads that will grab Trump's attention. The tariff ad got over 11 billion views. Every time Trump gets offended and shoots off his mouth, more people will find the ad to view, if they have not seen it before. Use what they have and that is Trump himself and his ridiculous reactions.

Among many other things, there needs to be an inquiry over these boat murders and consequences for those involved.

Assuming the orange turd isn’t reminded to issue blanket pardons…

Only one person was charged with torture in the Iraq war, and not only was he low level (Staff Seargent?), it wasn’t publicized so that he could be a warning. The Nuremberg trials are a fading memory, and their lesson needs to be reinforced.

That's why the Democrats had no choice but to create that ad. The whole point of JAG is to advise the military on its own regulations. Trump doesn't like that JAG could say he's wrong which is why he keeps blowing up "drug" boats.

ANYTHING is okay when he does it, or when someone does it at his behest! There are 2 sets of rules: one for his side and one for everybody else. That's how cheaters and drifters operate!

10. trump invoked the Streisand effect re his illegal orders

"The Streisand effect is a phenomenon where attempts to hide, remove, or censor information backfire by drawing more attention to it. The term originates from a 2003 incident where singer Barbra Streisand sued to have a photograph of her Malibu home removed from a public database; the resulting lawsuit and media coverage led to the photo being viewed hundreds of thousands of times, making it much more visible than it would have been otherwise."
