how the GOP get the common people to vote against their own best interests.

Example: You're against abortion, well then you must be a republican. The thought of already having the freedom to not have an abortion never entered their minds.

And the fuckhead droolers who need their firearms to protect against tyranny bowed down to a tyrant at their first opportunity.

Of course they don't want anyone to take their beloved guns, but their reasons for stockpiling them are generally bullshit.

It doesn't matter how old the clip is, none of that matters to them. It was said, and it reinforced all their beliefs.
That's all that matters.

I'm sure insulting them will totally separate them from their tribal instincts, and belittling their beliefs is a great way to win votes.

And if you think otherwise, then you've tapped into something different from reality.

Also, it was your claim that Democrats talk "all the time" about taking guns, and in support of your dubious claim you offered a link to a story that's at least two administrations out of date. It's commendable that you've opted to speak on behalf of the Republican droolers, but perhaps you could revise your statement to "Democrats have occasionally said such things in the past" or else provide some recent examples of them saying it "all the time."

I've been told quite often that the "real" problem facing Democrats is that anonymous members of an open internet forum sometimes post unkind things. So I guess it's fitting that my comments here are what keep ignorant Republican fuckheads from pulling the blue lever.

Why don't they vote democratic instead of expecting republicans to tax the rich.

I said it's the guns.
that is a GENUINE concern for them.
Your response is "they can go fuck themselves."

I guess your attitude makes the question moot then doesn't it?
after all:
If we want to know the answer to that question we look at possible answers: guns, abortion, etc.
if we don't care about the answer to that question we tell them to go fuck themselves.

Since that's your answer why are you even on this thread?

369,995 Nebraskans voted for Harris. You can fill a lot of town halls with numbers like that. If a few Republican voters join in on the chants, that would be a good thing, wouldn't it?

However, that implies that all 369,995 people are out there in the town halls yelling. I wish that were so, but I doubt it.

Which means, there are more than a few rethugs joining in. And, given the voting record of the last 60 years...

I think that bald guy is talking to them. But, don't feel badly...

What I posted does not imply that all 369,995 people are out there in the town halls yelling.

Let's say 300 people attend these town halls on average. You would need 100,000 town halls for 369,995 people. So maybe 3,000 people per town hall? You would still need to hold 10,000 town halls.

The same thing. Maybe it's the Dems in Nebraska chanting. I live in Texas- blue county- in the Houston metro area. Almost 5 million Texans voted for Harris. So it would be really great if DU posters would realize that NO state is all blue or all red. Texas is big, populous and has lots of Dems. Our issues really start at the local/state level. But there are many, many Texans (and I am sure Nebraskans) who vote blue

stupidity mixed in with racism/bigotry. Those people aren't voting for their best interest, it's to go after black & brown folk, who they feel has been milking the system, along with wiping out the LGBTQ community. There's more of course but the aforementioned is what really gets them riled up.

There are a TON of other Republican Run Rural States about to find themselves in the same predicament.......

Trump and the Republican Politicians must feel they have rigged the voting enough that they no longer need the 70 Million MAGAot voters that live in all those states, due to the Republicans and Trump beginning to screw all those MAGAot voters, along with the rest of us......

They really think there’s nothing on Earth worse than the Dems. We’re going to turn their kids trans, our politicians are drinking baby blood, we’re killing perfectly healthy babies upon their birth, we’re going to take all their guns, and so on and so on. They’ve been so brainwashed it’s unbelievable.

The filthy-rich in this country spend a lot of money convincing Americans to NOT vote in their own best interests.

Instead they want Americans to vote for those who suck up to the filthy-rich because.... abortion, socialism, gays, racism and many other ideas that are all about hating others.

Your economic health will never be impacted if some poor girl gets an abortion. How is that even an issue? Repub welfare will never be improved if a gay man can not legally marry. Those are nonsense issues used to get out the votes. They stoke the hate, and blame these minority groups so the filthy-rich can steal our wealth.

Vote for Repubs because they hate and blame others for the horrors of capitalism and you won't have to feel responsible or change.

Stupid message but it works. Americans seem especially susceptible to propaganda.

Any Republican who runs with those four boxes checked will win. All other policy positions are secondary. They'll never vote for a Democrat for health care, fair taxation, grocery prices as long as a Republican is on the ticket who is pro-gun, pro-white, anti-abortion and anti-trans.
