I think were gonna see these other prices come down and again, many of these goods were part of trade deals with countries that have been in the works for months, he said.

...on the things they can control, & annualized inflation is higher now than it was 6 months ago, and aggregate inflation is higher than in 2024, they are doing a pretty bad job of it.
It was a stupid answer, the analogy was blindingly dumb, and it was an admission that they don't know what they're doing & that sweeping tariffs are a negative to inflation.
How'd that idiot get through college?
