A film that premiered on PBS's MASTERPIECE on November 23, 2025, telling the true story of Bernard Jordan, a WWII veteran who broke out of his care home in 2014 to attend the 70th D-Day anniversary commemorations in Normandy. The film, starring Michael Caine and the late Glenda Jackson, is based on his 48-hour escape.
