I don't give a shit what the MSM calls it.
The plan is exactly the same as what Neville Chamberlain did with Hitler.
Chamberlain negotiated with Hitler, appeased Hitler. In 1938 Nazi Germany annexed Austria, then Chamberlain later in 1938 negotiated a deal for Hitler to annex a part of Czechoslovakia, Czechoslovakia was not a part of the negotiations. In 1939 Hitler took over all of Czechoslovakia and later invaded Poland, Chamberlain resigned in disgrace.
In the Krasnov surrender agreement Russia gives up nothing. Ukraine will never surrender, if it were to agree to this appeasement plan Putin would rearm his military and take control of all of Ukraine.
Stop calling it a peace plan.

(30,792 posts)Words matter, calling it a peace plan matters, it gives Russia a blank check to do what he wants in Ukraine knowing that the US is absolutely not helping one bit.
Those sanctions that Krasnov said he was putting on Russia, have they happened yet. They aren't going to happen.

(19,902 posts)But in a world that fights to reduce both the size and scope of words' meanings, many will describe it a 'Fair Treaty' whilst most will say it's an utter, despicable hatchet job.
Your citizens (present company excepted) are an uncommonly gullible bunch of souls. One may think that they are undergoing a form of mass hypnosis, in the most general sense of the words.
So - if a few up us are pretty sure that their words are worthless - why not the rest of them?

I bet the deadline gets extended from Thursday, either formally or trump stomps around but doesnt really do anything.

(30,792 posts)Putin is promising not to invade Ukraine again, just like Hitler promised not to invade Czechoslovakia and Eastern Europe?
Giving half of Russia's frozen funds to Ukraine, the money is already frozen and removing sanctions on Russia would more than make up for those frozen funds.
