he's kinda turned into a crank the last few years. He makes explosive claims and then writes up a "story" with no corroboration or proof. He's relying on ONE unnamed source for this latest claim.

Sometimes it takes time for corroboration for Hersh's stories to emerge, but comparing his record to others', I have more confidence in his reporting than in most others'

7. Sadly in his late years he now is fully untrustworthy...

He made this BS story about "How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline " in a covert sea operation.

Among the other faulty arguments he claimed that NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg ... had cooperated with the US intelligence service since the Vietnam War. Quite impressive since Stoltenberg was 16 years old when the Vietnam War ended.

For the operation to succeed a newly renovated American submarine base, which had been under construction in Norway for years, was made operational. But there is no US submarine base in Norway, only a Norwegian port where the submarines have been allowed to dock.

Sorry to say, but all info in that article which was possible to check was misunderstood or exaggerated. To bad he is spoiling a long life's commendable effort!
