As of 2024, Russia occupies almost 20% of Ukraine and about 3 to 3.5 million Ukrainians are estimated to be living under occupation; since the invasion, the occupied territories lost roughly half of their population.
Russia/Putin have killed tens of thousands of Ukrainian citizens in the territories they have illegally
occupied, they have raped tens of thousands of Ukrainians some of the rapes happened after Putin
gave his troops Viagra to sew fear and terror in the population, somewhere between 20,000 to 50,000
children have been kidnapped by Russia to become Russian citizens to replace Russias declining
population, Russia gets the rare earth minerals in Eastern Ukraine which are of interest to Musk, and
the Crimean Tatars who have been fighting the Russians to return to their homeland in Crimea for years
and they are not giving up.
A peace deal? Step #1 the Russians go home.

(30,825 posts)I see what is going on from the articles scrolling across my home page, even a few cut and pasted here.
1. Push the narrative that Ukraine is losing the war, that it can't win, even our Secretary of Army is pushing it.
2. Push the narrative that Ukraine has no choice but to sign the Putin/Krasnov surrender deal.
Since Feb. 2022 Russia has had 1.16 million casualties. Russia can't afford to pay its soldiers. Russia is leaving its dead and wounded on the battlefield.
Putin's army is using Stalin tactics to keep troops from fleeing the battlefield, Commanders have reportedly tried to stem the exodus by sending so-called barrier troops into combat zones. These military police units, described by RFE/RL as empowered to open fire on soldiers attempting to retreat, are intended to keep fighters in line even as casualty numbers climb.
Ukraine will never surrender should be the narrative being sent to Putin, but alas, our president got the code name Krasnov for a reason.

(76,037 posts)When Joe Biden visited Ukraine in 2023 (??) he made me proud but he also put together a very
strong coalition of European Nations that will support Ukraines fight with Russia/Putin and now
that Trump and the Republicans have pulled support from those freedom fighters that coalition
has stepped forward to fill the void.

2022 a must see.
