Longtime Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr calls out Hegseth's BS:

"Close to every member of the press corps you despise has made multiple reporting trips to combat zones, been under fire, some reporters wounded, some killed."

Alex Horton, one of the two Washington Post reporters who broke the story, has been a participant in more violent combat than Pete Hegseth by an order of magnitude.

It's not a coincidence that he got the scoop.

I guess the saying If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bullshit, is the go to with this regime, after all, that's all they've got, bullshit, no brilliance.

the second strike? No spotted survivors? No second strike. But Hegseth approved the second strike. Obviously, Whiskey Pete is lying to cover his ass.

For When the vile wads of shit say right to your faces:

This is what you in the press don't understand. You sit in your air conditioned offices and plant fake stories in the Washington Post!”
You respond with:

FUCK YOU, you drunken adulterer! I’ve been in more combat situations than you ever have! And that goes for the aging, flatulent, demented, draft-dodging toad sitting next to you!”

Just. One. Time. The world would cheer!!!

Maybe it would add ‘spine’ to the rest of the press corps?

Zero evidence has been presented that any of the nearly 100 people killed so far were smuggling drugs. Even if they were, smuggling drugs is not a capital offense and it doesn't give us the right to blow up random ships in international waters.

I'm all for it if the sadistic murder of survivors at sea creates more pressure on these assholes, but the first shots fired were murder. It's a distinction without a difference whether it was the first shots or second shots. It's all war crimes.
