The Nazi-Publicans will be trying to invalidate as many ballots from DEM voters as they can. I have a question:

With this sucking up of voter info they are trying to do, I need to check on something.

Moved to AZ ten years ago. Registered to vote, and vote every election. No longer vote on, own property or pay any kind of taxes in my former state. But I am wondering: Do I have to make sure I have been dropped from voter rolls where I used to live? It was an extremely small population county and they all know I left, but...

If they haven't purged me from their voter rolls, could Trump's lil nazis decide I am registered in two places therefore my ballot will be challenged where I live now? How many other Americans have moved and might still be on rolls where they used to be?

Gonna call county clerk where I lived 10 years ago and see what hoops I have to jump thru to make sure I am not still registered there. Thinking a LOT of us should be doing same, as the Nazi-Publicans know they can't win fair so they will be looking to disqualifying as many voters who register Democratic as their lil tech geeks can sort out.

With your previous state’s board of elections .
You should be able to search your name / address to see if you are still registered there .

and always check mine, especially just before the cut off date to register here in AZ in case our GOP county recorder tries to purge us DEMS here. Never even thought about checking the old location. I'm an idiot.

The rural county where we lived previously is not known for efficient record keeping (they actually believe laws are mere suggestions and disregard whatever they find inconvenient) so they might not have purged us. Will check online.

Thanks again for the reminder.

rolls if you haven't voted in two or more election cycles.

People here have pissed and moaned about that, but let me tell you, if you've ever campaigned door-to-door, voter lists in hand, you'll understand why deleting non-voting voters is a good idea.

I ran for office, once upon a time. I lost, but going door-to-door with the voter lists was interesting. Some addresses would have ten different people with five different surnames listed. So I'd knock, and then could ask, "Is this Steve Smith? Walter Johnson? Emily Jones?" People tended to be a bit annoyed when I didn't immediately know who they were.

What many people also don't understand just how many others they share a name with.

State Dept of Revenue, local government. There are certificates of occupancy, as well as certificates of moving in some locales. Good to have for tax purposes. I have no idea if many places issue them. You might have surrendered your license plates, driver's license too.

Crazy that married women might need a passport to vote in our own country.
