CNNs Phil Mattingly was at a loss over a Christmas Day social media post by President Donald Trump, who told Democrats that the day may be your last Merry Christmas!
-snip-
The host quoted from the presidents missive:
Merry Christmas to all, including the many Sleazebags who loved Jeffrey Epstein, gave him bundles of money, went to his Island, attended his parties, and thought he was the greatest guy on earth, only to drop him like a dog That part was in quotes when things got too HOT, that part was all caps falsely claimed they had nothing to do with him, didnt know him, said he was a disgusting person, and then blame, of course, President Donald J. Trump, who was actually the only one who did drop Epstein, and long before it became fashionable to do so.
Theres a lot more and then he continues, Now the same losers are at it again, only this time so many of their friends, mostly innocent, will be badly hurt and reputationally tarnished. But sadly, thats the way it is in the World of Corrupt Democrat Politics!!! Enjoy what may be your last Merry Christmas! President Donald J. Trump

(28,436 posts)I'm not convinced that if I mail in a ballot it will actually arrive.
I believe the current issue with mail-in ballots has to do with when they arrive, which is EXACTLY why I vote in person and early.
I live in the wonderful state of New Mexico, which has early voting that is easy to get to. One nearby voting location for me is the library. Another is the county fair grounds. Yet another is a nearby elementary school. Yep, this is why I live here.

(250 posts)because during the voting season, the state puts up special metal standing boxes.
Mine goes up in front of my library. It is as solid as a rock with a very thin slot.
It is taken down when the election is over.
