'A Democratic midterm 'tsunami' could sweep the GOP out of power'

'Dragged down by an unpopular president, Republicans are bracing for a midterm trouncing'

'Skye Perryman, president and chief executive of Democracy Forward, a national-legal organisation that has filed numerous lawsuits against the administration, said: “This administration has been ruthlessly breaking the law, disregarding the protections that are provided through American law for people and communities. It has been governing in a way that is on a collision course with the constitution.”'

'She gave examples including infringement of free speech, disregard for due process, an effort to replace civil servants with political loyalists, and a federal funding freeze that threatened food and nutritional assistance for 42 million Americans. But Perryman also finds hope in the way that people have responded.

“The American people have been pushing back. There have been nearly 500 lawsuits filed in federal court over the course of these first 11 months of the administration.

Weren't a part of the Regime - this wouldn't be a concern for them.

There will be a blue tsunami next November because people across both parties, all races, regions and other formerly divisive demographics will be unified in their economic suffering.

They can’t afford groceries, and their healthcare costs will have skyrocketed, and republicans will get the blame.

Sure, some folks will be motivated by all the “No Kings” hoopla, but by and large it’s Maslow’s bottom tier of his hierarchy of needs that will get people to the voting booths.

Vance is not well liked in the GQP, whoever the next VP is will a jerk as well.

The 6 US SC justices keep going against the people in their efffed up decisions, the the DOJ, F.B.I, US AG alongwith the horrible tactics that the 6 justices allow them to use against POC re immigration round ups, deportations, no do process, and concentration camps.

Economy still in the gutter, etc,

13. THAT is the point: it's NOT just trump!!! It is the entire GOP that has destroyed all but

the last breath of our democracy, and our reputation in the world.

It was the entire republican party that installed the six most criminal, unlawful, crooked supreme court justices, and who did EVERYTHING that trump and his maga base told them to do.
They did not stand up against 1/6.
They did NOT support ACA when it was on the chopping block.
They allowed the anti-abortion rulings without stepping up for the majority of their constituents....and on and on.
It is the republican stupidity that needs to be voted out of the entire world.

We have to think and act like we are behind. We have to turn out in overwhelming numbers, which makes vote tampering much harder.

... like many apparently did last year. It's rather worrisome to think that belief could lower turnout enough to lose again.
