Christmas with Stephen Miller (Sinatra-Dean Martin special )Tries to coin "infinity migrants" and is blasted.

Trump’s top adviser slammed for ‘stupid’ immigration take inspired by old Christmas special

Published: Dec. 26, 2025, 2:48 p.m.

“This is how stupid Stephen Miller is: Both Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra were children of immigrants. Dean Martin didn’t even begin to learn english until he was 5,” tweeted liberal influencer Brian Krassenstein. “Imagine watching a show with your kids and trying to figure out ways to use it to attack immigrants who are in need on Christmas day.”

“Dean Martin was born Dino Paul Crocetti and gave himself a stage name because of braindead xenophobes like Stephen. Sinatra was also a child of Italian immigrants. Imagine watching them and thinking immigrants didn’t build the culture you fetishize today,” added Rolling Stone politics reporter Nikki McCann Ramirez.

“The parents of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin (b. Dino Crocetti) were immigrants from ‘third world’ parts of Italy. In the U.S., various Sinatras and Crocettis had occasional run-ins with the law. They were the kinds of immigrants Stephen Miller would have been eager to deport,” said Bill Kristol, editor at large of the anti-Trump media organization The Bulwark.

Franklin Leonard, founder of The Black List, said, “Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra would hate Stephen Miller and his politics.”

But Miller doesn't care about the truth or historical accuracy. His words appeal to old white racists who remember the 1950s with fondness because they were allowed to be assholes then with no pushback.

The KKK came and burned a cross on the school lawn and the townspeople came and chased them away-this was in the mid to late 1920s.

is if your ancestors had already been here for hundreds of years before 1776 (or 1620), or if your ancestors were kidnapped and taken here involuntarily. How many generations ago were your ancestors required to have arrived for you to be considered a "real" American? Or is the only requirement that your ancestors were white? By the way, there was a time when Irish people (e.g., Sean Hannity, Steve Bannon) and Italians (e.g., Sinatra and Martin) weren't considered "white" either. German immigrants were so despised during the early 20th century that many of them changed their names (for example, Drumpf became Trump).

I’m Scotch Irish. My stepfather couldn’t be more Irish at least by his last name. He caught shit even as a child. My stepfather-grandfather had an incredibly German last name. He was badly injured in North Africa, spent over a year at the Greenbrier when it was a military hospital, was a cornerstone of his local VFW, and still caught shit for decades because of his last name.

From Holland. Per my older cousin who is a genealogy master our great grandfather changed the spelling of our family name because it sounded “too German.” Oh the twists of humanity.
