Triple Dotting Social Media

If you're on Facebook or YouTube, be sure to look again on everything you click for those three dots. If you are seeing some sort of AI Slop or other material that pisses you off, click on those three dots and block that source, or delete that video or post or person.

In the short term, you'll see less of stuff you don't care to see. In the long term, if enough people do that consistently, you'll send a message to whomever runs that social media outlet that you're on to them and won't have it any longer.

Other social media also have methods to control or complain about what you're being fed. Use those controls. Make those complaints. Block stuff that offends you or your sensibilities. If offered a chance to say way, do so. If you see the same stuff from the same folks, block them.

Don't just scroll on. You can make a difference. We all should try to make a difference.

We all use social media, for whatever reasons. It's not as simple as saying, "Just don't go there." If you do, for whatever reason, provide feedback. If enough users do, changes will be considered and maybe made. At the very least, you can block the worst of the worst.
