Wondering here this AM. Just what would be YOUR bridge to far?

I'm sure this decision was spoke of by many people during NAZI Germany. How did the under ground begin? When and how will OUR underground begin, because i'm really afraid WE have to decide THIS. (it's on us to save Democracy) Election of 2026 will be the most needed win, but after wining will TSF and Supreme court disregard the laws passed by a democratic controlled congress? THAT will be MY bridge to far, if they continue to destroy our democracy! We have one year folks. I'm really feeling like our country is gonna need everyone of us, IF TSF and supreme court makes their last decision to continue destruction of our constitution.

In Nazi Germany there wasn’t just one resistance. There were many cells and fronts and factions using a variety of tactics, each with their own (sometimes in opposition) goals. Find an org that shares your goals and join up with them.

Happen on any forum like this. People were killed easily and couldn’t trust even their family or friends. I love to read books about the resistance in different countries during the war, especially France where they snuck paintings out. It was done with codes and tests were done to prove you could be trustworthy.

I think it would be more likely to be done by word of mouth or the dark internet and done anonymously.

I often wonder as I read the books if I would have the courage to do any of the things they did, knowing they could be shot or sent to prison camps. I am not sure I would.

Last book I read pretty much everyone was starving by the end of the war, the final year even German soldiers couldn’t get much. A lot of people that gave information was to save their children from dying of starvation. What a horrible choice to make.

Living and trying to survive under occupation. Occupation can take many forms, East Germany was different from Yugoslavia, was different from Vietnam, is different between West Bank, Gaza, and Tigrey.
We are at the economic dismantling of the middle class, installation of "patriotic society", and re-education point. We just haven't gotten to the roundups and mass removal/camps stages yet.

Read Project 2025. When that became an acceptable opinion that could be considered and discussed at length "on its merit" in mainstream political and socio-religious circles. That is like publicly discussing on NPR and all the cable shows as the topic of the month the merits of cannibalism, slavery, and paedophilia.

Project 2025 legitimized as the roadmap for the Class takeover and restructuring of "Democracy". That, and, well, the corruption of the Supreme Court by the highly protected Federalist Society (i.e., the Mafia Takeover of the US Legal System) was my bridge too far.
