1. The deadline for Nobel Peace Prize submissions for this year is midnight on 1/31.

I don't know whether just not starting any wars is a sufficient qualification but maybe someone should submit Biden for the prize. Wouldn't that fry somebody's ass?

severely damaging its reputation for trustworthiness internationally. Trump did this DELIBERATELY, so that his successor would have a very messy situation on his hands. Also forced the release 5,000 Taliban in captivity in an agreement between US and Taliban (w/out Afghan gov't inclusion!) , who rejoined the fight against the Afghan gov't and led to its eventual defeat.

It was wonderful to have a full four years when one was able to wake up in the morning without wondering what holy hell had been released overnight. That all went bye-bye again on January 21, 2025.
