Will the American people roll over if Trump and Hegseth try to take Greenland from Denmark?

To me, this would require a national strike shutting down the USA until the Trump criminal cabal is removed from power.

Sadly, I predict the American public would do little as we alienate all of our allies in Europe.

To be fair, most Americans know nothing about it and have no connection to the country. It’s about as distant as it gets, so hard to imagine a national strike happening over that issue when there’s more pressing matters.

Sucks doesn’t it?

Not enough to do what needs to be done. We’re so fucking timid that we schedule “protests.”

We’re soft and bought off. Entertained ourselves to death.

I assume they can't let this happen, so the fall out could be awful for the economy.

If you look at all the actions Trump has taken that are illegal under international law, as far as I know no major country has tried to take the US/Trump to the International Criminal Court in the Hague or even filed anything other that mealy mouthed diplomatic statements. I assume they worry about him abandoning NATO, raising tariffs or farting in the next G20 meeting....bending to his chaotic threats and hoping the terrible diet and all that aspirin catches up to him sooner rather than later.

People who feel helpless all too often act helpless even when they're not.

That said, the price for standing up isn't one a lot of people want to pay.

Unfortunately, too many people are stunned right now, they've gone tharn (deer in the headlights, afraid and unable to move).

Too many have a keep your head down and keep moving attitude. Quietly, and looking out for themselves and family.

More I can say but I'd offend people.

More cheap fossil fuel to burn.

Yeah, we like Jeebus and a good Hallmark movie. But, it appears that we measure quality of life by how cheap a fill up is in a 3 ton pickup is... you know the one with the Murican flag and bull testicles hangin' from the hitch!
