But it seems this case could certainly get thrown out for many fundamental reasons.
Will a good judge even let it proceed to trial?

10. I have wondered that too. And the judge presiding the case is a real piece of work. Could be interesting.

Nothing will happen quickly. I think it took two years between the capture of Noreiga and the actual start of his trial.

I think it will be a struggle to get a conviction on that. For the drug charges, don't know but it doesn't appear this case is clear cut. And how do they justify grabbing his wife and kid?
