Five years later, I sense a deep-rooted anger toward those that attacked our Capitol on January 6th, 2021

....and toward those that still lie and defend those actions on that day.

It has been building up for years, in hopes that the truth would finally emerge.

But, they see that the truth has been left for dead. Part of their soul was attacked on that day and they are more angry today than ever before.

The insurrectionists want to rewrite history and tell you that you did not see what you saw on that day. They take joy in continuing to lie about something so serious. It is despicable. They have worked hard to be hated.

It spread to the entire Republican Party, unfortunately. They follow the criminal President with no questions asked.

For many Americans, there is no compassion left for those people.

There is no compromise coming.

I don't dwell on what happened...but when reminded in various ways - I get angry!

Since Democrats out number Republicans, and hopefully Independents that lean towards Democrats - that's a fair amount of people that could be angry when reminded.

My Zoomer son actually wished me a "Happy 'Literally What' Day" today. He said that January 6 just isn't anything he or his friends or the podcasts he listens to consider important.

I kept my cool (mostly) and yelled at him to just go to work.
