Toddler wounded in Phoenix shooting
PHOENIX — A child was shot in the face in Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
Officers were called to the area of 32nd Street and Broadway Road around 12:19 p.m. Tuesday for reports of unknown trouble, the Phoenix Police Department said.
When officers arrived on the scene, they located a toddler with gunshot wounds.
The toddler was taken to the hospital, and the injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
