Little public information is available about Ross, described only by federal officials as an experienced officer.
On Wednesday morning, Ross was embedded in a group of federal agents on a targeted crackdown in south Minneapolis when Good was shot. ICE has not reported the identity of the shooter and did not respond to request for comment for this story.
(snip)
A law enforcement source, who is not authorized to speak publicly, confirmed that Ross is the shooter.

(31,136 posts)This was all I had seen when I posted:
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who fatally shot a 37-year-old woman in Minneapolis Wednesday is Jonathan Ross, the same officer who was dragged and injured by a fleeing driver in a separate incident last year, according to a person with knowledge of the case and verified by court documents.
The hospital photos are not tainted by ICE or the DOJ. They don't prove the injury happened the way this ICE thug and the DOJ presented it. The jury convicted the guy so the story must have been believable. That doesn't make Ross sticking his hand inside the broken window of a running vehicle a smart tactical move.
Good to hear from you.

(2,688 posts)I saw posters predict this - that the shooter had previous incidents.
Un-fucking-real.
Good for the identification.
Watch now - Patel and Bondi will threaten The Tribune as domestic terrorists. Mark my word.
Trump & Co have to go NOW. Not next week. NOW.

(451 posts)What was everyone doing in the middle of the street to begin with, including the cop who did the shooting? I feel like I missed something somewhere. Why is a car sideways to begin with, what's the deal with the sideways white SUV next to it and the person standing around in the street? Was this just someone pulling out of a parking spot and got shot before they could orient East/West? Or maybe a fender bender with the white SUV that ICE rolled up on? That time of day could be headed to work or daycare?
