ABC News is reporting that two people were shot by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents in Portland, Ore., on Thursday evening.

The circumstances that led up to the shooting and the conditions of the two people shot were not immediately available.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating. More information is expected to be released on Thursday evening.

The Portland City Council reportedly stopped its meeting due to the shooting.
