Can someone - anyone! - do something? anything?

The trajectory of all of the bullshit simply can't continue at this rate - or can it?

I am seriously wondering if there is a Democratic party any more.

They went through this for generations and came up with a lot of creative ways to peacefully resist. The most important thing is to not give up, or expect it to happen quickly. Just keep plugging away, and keep the moral high ground.

They think it's not their job.

Here's Schumer doing his best to inspire.

The leadership and tactics of the civil rights movement were constantly evolving, with multiple leaders. We have many young leaders with good ideas today - AOC, Melanie Stansbury, Gavin Newsom, Ezra Levin and Leah Greenburg - founders of Indivisible.

Let a thousand flowers bloom.

We’ve fallen through the ice.

Each day our nation remains in the control of the republican fascist criminal syndicate the more likely they will strengthen their domination and strangle opposition.

Anything is possible. The republicans are winning … their voters either don’t care or silently support the unlawful and cruel actions.

We have months , maybe weeks,

This monster was created by US Voters and now the Fascist criminal syndicate is going after the entire globe

We don't have cable, satellite, or broadcast television either. Our television plays DVDs and two or three no-advertising streaming services. That's all it does.

Democracy is drowning in bullshit.

Stop blaming Democrats for not being able to stop this march of fascism when the voters gave them no power to do so.

...did not show up because of external issues like Palestine--and others shifted to the Orange Abomination because of the price of eggs, etc.

Despite all of the evidence and effort we failed to convince even parts of our own base that the election was an existential threat.

I hope they realize now that the next one is--if it happens.

A lot of people died to give us the right to vote, yet sadly many of us don't appreciate it enough to even show up.

Anybody who hopes that OTHER PEOPLE, including their elected officials, will save American democracy for them is part of the problem at this point.

A grassroots uprising is paramount.
The world needs to see a massive groundswell of opposition NOW—before Republicans rig the mechanisms to steal every future election in plain sight.
Get loud. Get organized. Or kiss democracy goodbye.
Without having the house or senate, I think the only hope is to get out and be seen! If Americans see just how many are standing up against the Rs, they won’t be able to lie and cheat to win future elections claiming it’s the will of the people.
BS! The people are united, standing up against fascism!
