Federal government has declared war on its citizens

While members of Congress sit around talking or writing letters, people are being murdered.

So tired of this BS. If you are in Congress and all I hear is "we talked for hours but it didn't change anything so I guess we will stand around and talk some more" all while federal government is murdering us I am done. Tired of the excuses. Tired of the lies. Tired of the only solution being "actually do nothing".

Young people (ME) staring at possible death in Vietnam, police beating protestors. Kent State (sound familiar) and beating and turning of dogs on Black protestors.

John Lewis in particular.

Lynchings and murders of civil rights workers.

JFK, RFK, MLK, other assassinated.

Shootings on campus.

I WILL NEVER FORGET.

That's the GREAT America that people want back.

Fascism comes in cycles.

It was a terrible time.

Muster up the greatness in you.

Including the spineless slugs in congress and our own ... redacted.

But now is very different. We have billionaires and demented narcissists and real life fascists. Some are all three.
We have an actual paramilitary force more than willing to kill Americans.
We have a military that is more than willing to commit war crimes.
Americans in 2026 are likely the most ignorant and laziest in its history.
We have diseases running out of control from coast to coast and the guy that supposed to help stop it is doing everything in his power to make it worse.
We went from having strong, loyal friends and allies to the EU, most of Asia, Mexico and Canada, literally threatening to declare war on us.

While it's honestly not fair to compare one time period to another because the same context just doesn't apply.
I absolutely think this is a much worse situation in general.

Trump DEFACES THEM.

But racism was always the force that fascists used. Still is.

It destroys one's life and that's of others.

A devilish function. There will be no peace until people abandon it, and the sick f@cks who use them like playtoys to be trashed.

My fav graphic.
