Stephen Miller's "Iron Law"

In his interview with CNN, Trump’s malign homunculus made it clear that there is no velvet glove on this fist. The world, Stephen Miller insists, must be governed by raw force.

"We live in a world in which you can talk all you want about international niceties and everything else, but we live in a world, in the real world, Jake, that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power,” Miller told Jake Tapper of CNN. “These are the iron laws of the world since the beginning of time.”

If that sounds familiar it is. It is the ancient worldview that “might makes right”. The law of the jungle. Eat or be eaten. It is the credo of tyrants, conquerors, thugs, and bullies throughout history.

Miller might well have described his philosophy as the “Triumph of the Will,” but that title has already been taken.

Snip.

The law of the jungle is the opposite of the law of civilization.

Yesterday marked the moment when Trump’s troll about seizing Greenland became a full-blown diplomatic crisis, and the world’s democracies came to grips with the reality that the United States had morphed from an ally to a threat.

"The fact that not one single spine-having, duty-bound adult in American government exists to slam the brakes on this sh**show carnival is proof enough that this country deserves every ounce of contempt, ridicule, and global hatred it’s about to choke on for the next hundred years."

about all the high gummint people, Vance, plus others, in Western Montana and Idaho? I would bet that is already where the bunker building is happening. Getting ready for things to come undone with the climate. And, now all this other crap.

1) EVERYTHING trump touches, dies. Thank you, Rick Wilson.

2) The cruelty IS THE POINT. EVERYTIME.

3) It's a heist. Every time. No matter what, if you dig far enough, everyone running this administration is, somehow, some way, stealing something from somewhere they're not supposed to.

4) DONALD TRUMP IS IN THE FUCKING EPSTEIN FILES.

there is nothing else to this government. that's it.

pushing all this shit. He's putting the bug in Trump's ear. There is no way Trump is smart or coherent enough to know how to come up with all this alone. All you have to do is kiss Trump's ass 24/7 and you can have anything you want

...by an unnamed member of the George W Bush administration many years ago (it was rumored to be Karl Rove). The quote was reported by Ron Suskind in the NYT (10/17/2004). In the end, they hanged themselves with this statement; it might as well be the epitaph for the Bush regime.

The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." ... "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors ... and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."

Four years after little kingpig pedo the felon organized an insurrection against the federal government of the United States and stole hundreds of highly classified military top top top secret documents some two weeks after, then obstructed their return to the federal government of the United States, not only he was still free to keep destroying the federal government of the United States by running and "winning" a second term, but he managed to invent a batshit crazy rewriting of History about all that happened, and is now threatening allied countries of violent illegal terrorist threats if they refuse to bend the knees to his imperialist ambitions (leaving toxic waste behind the ransacking, deregulated exploitation of their natural resources).

All that against both the Constitution of the United States AND International Law!

And nobody does anything effective to stop him and them...
