Great Bluesky post today about DHS

DHS was created to FIGHT terrorists, not to BE terrorists. It needs to be defunded by congress in 2027, and we should select candidates who run on that platform.

We can and will abolish DHS. They are eating up the budget for manufactured fear they have created.

As if, in an era of climate change, we don’t have better things to do.

This is one thing I hate so much about Republicans. They have absolutely no sense whatsoever of priorities. They are perfectly happy to manufacture – – as you say, fear – – to achieve their selfish aims.
