Noem was called out Sunday on CNN for repeatedly dodging Jake Tapper’s questions about her claim that Renee Good – the Minnesota woman fatally shot by an immigration agent last week – had engaged in “domestic terrorism.”

“I'm wondering if you're not doing a disservice to the officer by reaching a conclusion before the investigation takes place,” Tapper told Noem, who moments earlier had repeatedly defended herself coming to the conclusion that Good had engaged in “domestic terrorism” just hours after the incident.

Instead of addressing how she could so definitively come to such a conclusion so soon after the incident, Noem moved to attack Tapper for his coverage of the killing.

“I haven't heard you say once what a disservice it's been for [Minneapolis] Mayor [Jacob] Frye to get up and to tell ICE to ‘get the F out of this city,' and for [Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)] to stand up before she had any of the facts and call this officer a murderer,” Noem said.

The Mayor of Minneapolis scoffed at critics who believe he took the temperature too high following Wednesday’s fatal shooting in his city by an ICE agent.

In an interview Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press, Kristen Welker pressed Mayor Jacob Frey (D) about the comments he made in the immediate aftermath of Wednesday’s shooting.

“To ICE: Get the f*ck out of Minneapolis!” Frey said Wednesday. “We do not want you here. Your stated reason for being in this city is to create some kind of safety, and you are doing exactly the opposite. People are being hurt, families are being ripped apart. Long-term Minneapolis residents that have contributed so greatly to our city, to our culture, to our economy, are being terrorized; and now, somebody is dead. That’s on you.”....

“Protests here in Minneapolis are peaceful,” Frey said. “We had, I don’t know, 10,000 or so people that were protesting and marching yesterday. And virtually all of it was a very peaceful expression of First Amendment rights. And, you know, to those that are offended, I’m sorry I offended their delicate ears! But as far as who inflamed the situation, you know, I dropped an F bomb. And they killed somebody. I think the killing somebody is the inflammatory element here — not the F bomb which I’m sure we’ve all heard before.”
