Whose Kids?

Are going to war in:
Venezuela
Greenland
Cuba
Mexico
Iran
Syria
Colombia
etc.

This president has a war-age child.

So who is going? Asking for a generation........

Hire mercenaries like Blackrock, who are subject to fewer restrictions and less oversight, at great taxpayer expense;

Impoverished the middle class to the point that young people desperate for jobs enlist; and

Lots of propaganda glamorizing military service (anyone else seeing a lot of commercials like that lately?)

If they get sufficiently desperate, they may start admitting more immigrants and offer citizenship in exchange for service, an admittedly awkward turn-about that they're probably correct in assuming they'll be able to sell to the public with sufficient propaganda.

That said, I believe there have been at least a few preparations made for a possible reinstatement of the draft; but since the draft helped fuel tremendous resistance to the Viet Nam war, I believe they'll leave that option as a last resort.
