Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is under federal criminal investigation related to the $2.5 billion renovation to the central banks headquarters and his congressional testimony about that, Powell said.
Powell said the probe was the result of the Fed setting interest rates based on our best assessment of what will serve the public, rather than following the preferences of President Donald Trump.
Sen. Thom Tillis, a North Carolina Republican, and Banking Committee member, said he would any oppose nominee by Trump to replace Powell, and any Fed board nominee, until this legal matter is fully resolved.

The US Government has adopted the Soviet "Show me the man and I will show you his crimes" legal strategy.

They're just sitting idly by while tRump transforms us into an obviously corrupt republic.
We're in this situation because they wouldn't do the right thing after the last impeachment. Now we're at another set of crossroads and they still refuse to do the right thing.
Stand up for our country, ffs! This shit won't go away when he leaves office. These are things that will impact us for decades, if not forever.
It's like they believe that US status and power are guaranteed regardless of what we do. That's not the case. Any nation can fall.
