Trump Says Civil Rights Led to White People Being Very Badly Treated
President Trumps comments were a blunt distillation of his administrations racial politics, which rest on the belief that white people have become the real victims of discrimination in America.

President Trump said in an interview that he believed civil rights-era protections resulted in white people being very badly treated, his strongest indication that the concept of reverse discrimination is driving his aggressive crusade against diversity policies.
Speaking to The New York Times on Wednesday, Mr. Trump echoed grievances amplified by Vice President JD Vance and other top officials who in recent weeks have urged white men to file federal complaints with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
When asked whether protections that began in the 1960s, spurred by the passage of the Civil Rights Act, had resulted in discrimination against white men, Mr. Trump said he believed a lot of people were very badly treated.
White people were very badly treated, where they did extremely well and they were not invited to go into a university to college, he said, an apparent reference to affirmative action in college admissions. So I would say in that way, I think it was unfair in certain cases.

Truth is, the man has issues. Outwardly, he's nicey-nice, but HOO BOY does he ever have a grievance TEMPER. I've seen it. I'm guessing his employer has seen it or signs of it, too. Or, there may have been other reasons he didn't get that promotion.
But of course, he insists it's "reverse discrimination."
I doubt it. I've hired and fired people in my career. It is unlikely that the reason had to do with his nationality or gender identity.

a plaque that honored the gallantry of African American members of the military in WW II from a
cemetery for fallen American G.I.s, that the largest fine for racial discrimination in the history of the
U.S. D. o. J. went to the Trumps real estate company, that he pushed the easily disproven story about
Trump not being born in America, or that he with help stopped USAID support to Africa which has already
killed > 1,000,000 black people.
Bigotry is what Trump and his supporters are all about.

Smithsonian. Aka What about the good side of slavery and the wonderful ocean trip they got
from Africa to the New World?
President Donald Trump on Tuesday confirmed the White House is conducting a review of the Smithsonian museums and expressed frustration over their portrayal of dark parts of America's history, including slavery.
"The Smithsonian is OUT OF CONTROL, where everything discussed is how horrible our Country is, how bad Slavery was, and how unaccomplished the downtrodden have been -- Nothing about Success, nothing about Brightness, nothing about the Future," Trump wrote on his social media platform.

(1,566 posts)I was a boy during the Civil Rights Era. I lived my adult life with the results.
And I am the poster boy for White Privilege -not the kind Pres. Baby-Man has. No, I represent the White Privilege that the vast majority of us run into on a day-to-day basis. I got jobs that I was in no way qualified for. In one instance, I later learned that I got that job over a PoC who was fully qualified. In fact, if I posted my background and formal education (or lack thereof) and then my CV...well, you wouldn't believe me without documentation. And I wouldn't blame you in the least.
Did I get these jobs solely because I was white? No. But I guarantee that if I was black, brown, yellow, or red I wouldn't have gotten a single one of those jobs, and probably none of the promotions.
White people routinely are better treated than PoC in this country -and always have been. Most of us don't even notice...until we are treated equally. Then we squeal like pigs.
Blow it out your ass, Your Travesty.

He did not qualify for the good universities.
He has always thought his whiteness entitled him to everything.
Brains still Trump ignorance and anti-social behavior.
