than we tend to remember. The many lies used as an excuse to invade Iraq and the obscene amount of money that flowed into that country, much of which was never accounted for. Then there was Dick Cheney who outed a CIA operative out of petty revenge. Who can forget the Abu Ghraib torture prison or Guantanamo Bay?

Of course, there were the many judicial appointments that still affect us today, especially the Supreme Court justices.

he left a legacy of corruption at the State Level in Texas - his minions...Greg Abbott, Rick Perry, John Cornyn, Ted Cruz, and Ken Paxton to name just a few were all part of his Texas Governor administration. This state has never been the same and not sure it ever will.

I am beginning to think Trump is even worse but still living with Bush's legacy and it sucks.

Gore might have prevented 911. Dubya was warned and did nothing. When he finally did something, attacking Iraq, it was possibly the dumbest thing (and most damaging thing to our country) ever done by a President.

Approximately 4,492 U.S. servicemembers were killed in the Iraq War from its beginning in 2003 until the official withdrawal in 2011. The total number of U.S. military personnel who died in the post-9/11 wars, including Iraq, is over 7,053.

35. George W Bush was the first president in my lifetime that I truly hated

. He became president right when when I was 17 and half years old as a senior in highschool. I couldn't vote that year he ran but I could clearly tell he was an idiot and reminded me of all the affluent privileged smug kids I went to highschool with. I wanted Gore to win but unfortunately Bush got away with cheating in Florida due to the Supreme Court ruling in his favor.

Little did I know the worst was to come as a freshly 18 year old freshman in college when it came to Bush. For those of you who don't know I'm a US born Indian guy whose parents are from India. My ethnicity is Punjabi and I have been mistaken on many occasions of being middle eastern with the way I look. 9/11 happened and afterwards my college experience sucked since I had to deal with a lot of dumb angry racist shit heads who thought I was a terrorist due to my appearance. That was annoying to deal with and Bush made it worse with his stupid war on terror propaganda which pretty much painted all brown skin people as the enemy.

On top of that I made many enemies on campus for speaking out against Bush's war on terror and the laws he enacted such as the patriot act. That truly was not a fun time in my life when it should have been. College is suppose to be fun but for me I never look back on it on fondness due to the nonsense Bush put me through.

But NO president in our history has ever sought to overturn the principles of democracy anywhere close to the extent of Donald tRump.

The Bushes, Reagan, Nixon, and predecessors laid some groundwork but tRump has escalated exponentially and gone full-blown dictator on behalf of Vladimir Putin (by way of Paul Manafort and Felix Sater) and the billionaire class (by way of Elon Musk and the late Jeff Epstein), destroying our democracy from within.

IMPEACH HIM NOW and throw his fat pedophile ass in JAIL where he belongs.

Poppy Doc Bush lied America into Gulf War 1.

Anyone remember when Bush lied America into war on Iraq?

https://www.democraticunderground.com/10026202003

When the nation refused to rally behind the George Herbert Walker Bush rationale for war on Iraq — “It’s not the oil, it’s WMDs” (the first time)!, the money trumps peace swells trotted out a “young Kuwaiti OB nurse,” who testified to Congress that she saw Saddam Hussein’s troops enter her hospital in Kuwait City and empty the incubators full of babies onto “the cold, hard floor” and then roll the incubators out the door and up the road to Baghdad, swear to Goodness. It was all a lie, as she, in reality, was the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Washington’s 15-year old daughter. Didn’t matter as Congress authorized war to restore the Kuwaiti royal family.

Of course… Poppy and Capitalism’s Invisible Army lied Saddam into making war in the first place.

Like Trump, he was a figurehead.

Darth Cheney was calling the shots.

Karl Rove was consolidating power and putting AL Gov. Don Siegelman in jail.

He sent American troops into Afghanistan and Iraq only because former leaders "tried to kill my Daddy".

Trump doesn't negate Bush II and make him benign.
