Of course Proud Boys have links to ICE
The Proud Boys is an American far-right, neo-fascist militant organization, which promotes and engages in political violence. It was formed in 2016 during the presidential election. The organization claims not to be racist; however, it is deeply rooted in white nationalism and misogyny.

They believe white men should be in power, and “multiculturalism” is “erasing” them.

However, leaked documents now list Enrique Tarrio, the former leader of the group, as an ICE agent -snip-

I'm sure we could get a list of the convicted Jan 6th rioters and match up more names, spent some time with "The Sedition Hunters" a couple years ago identifing those people and then poof taco pardons them all. ... Peace.

Reposted somebody else's post of this Telemundo article yesterday on Enrique Tarrio bragging about being a member of ICE, but it's way too thinly reported. It's from that dataset that hasn't been confirmed and has weird problems, and him dicking around on Twitter isn't confirmation, so I unreposted.

People, please! Proud Boy Enrique Tarrio is NOT an ICE officer. His name was on an obviously fake list that went viral yesterday. Tarrio then joke-replied to the claim. By today he explicitly stated, he is not an ICE officer. This "news" article is based only on his joke. The claim is false. 1/

Here is Tarrio's denial, from 6:08 PM Eastern Time today. "I FUCKING WISH I WORKED FOR ICE". He says he would like the K. He says "Hire the FUCKING Proud Boys". And he says he got death threats from the rumors. Tarrio does not work as an federal law enforcement agent. 2/

The Televisas Noticias article is entirely based on the stupid Tweet that Tarrio had sent the day before (Jan 13), responding to the rumor by saying "A list I'm finally proud to be on.." THIS WAS A JOKE. This is not a validation of the story. Journalists need to understand when someone is joking. 3/
