The article includes observations from a renowned speech therapist who worked with Gabby Giffords after her devastating near-assassination, and who gives Kelly a lot of credit for his support and involvement in her recovery.

(175,401 posts)This excerpt from this article really hit me hard
But whats lost about that is the warmer and human side of Mark, the man who loves a joke and has a sense of humor and doesnt mind cleaning up after lunch and taking out the garbage. I guess he even does that up in outer space.
When the president called Kelly a traitor and said Kelly should be hung, Helm-Estabrooks said, her adult children expressed no concern for Kelly; rather the reverse. The kids said that from what theyve seen, the message should be Dont [expletive] with Mark Kelly.

(1,664 posts)is more like a two year old or three year old........
It is painfully obvious that he missed out on countless Developmental areas of his personality, and therefore he is still "Frozen" at all the areas that he didn't develop, as an infant/child........As an adult, in all those arrested areas, he acts like how a child would react.....

(901 posts)He isnt charismatic enough, but after four years of hell, I think his personality could be a welcome change. Not to mention, hes extremely intelligent and dedicated to the nation.

(260 posts)we, in the Democratic Party, have a wealth of talented politicians. I hope they can fashion a message that will FINALLY overshadow the right wing faux news and manosphere crap that we have been subjected to for way too long....... that the people who claim republican ties can stop. being so gaslit...........their stupidity drives me nuts......

(17,346 posts)As a former UAW worker my concern is whether we have legitimate elections and save our democracy. I'll put aside any self-centered concerns at this point in time.

(11,764 posts)But I don't see them as being different.
We cannot have a functioning democracy if we do not support the ability of labor to organize and fight for equal and fair treatment.

(37,349 posts)I'm rapidly becoming a big time Mark Kelly fan; one who would like to see him run for President should our democracy survive it's attempted suicide in service to the orange pedophile.

Those are things WE said about CHUMP on January 6th, 2021. And most of us are still saying them now.
Chump is completely turning tables on the accusations against himself for the last 5 years.
Of course in his case, they're TRUE. For Mark Kelly, they are completely UNTRUE.
Chump, just shut up and look in a mirror, why don't you?
