In 2004 hubby and I worked for Safeway in mammoth lakes,ca. We went on strike for four months. We were the only grocery store in town. Sadly all but about 5 or 6 of us crossed the line and went back to work
The few of us who maintained the picket line were harassed by the local pd. We had one cop who asked us to produce ID and we declined. He threaten to arrest us. This was a small local population and he knew us all by name lol. At one point during the strike husband and I were charged with trespassing. Needless to say we won in court. After the strike we moved because of the hostility at work since there was only 5 of us that maintained the picket line.
But no you do not have to provide your papers just because you are asked.

5. Accountability?

When they overwhelmingly out number real lawmen who can actually charge or arrest them. They consider themselves above the laws of the land. Penishead Miller told them have at it we,got your back.
